The Northern Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors Association is the leading trade association and voice for union contractors and our industry in Northern Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin. We are a growing, member driven service organization that supports a diverse group of union contractors, their employees and respective trade unions, and others that wish to engage, remain competitive and advance our common interests and needs. We believe that a strong local and regional economy means a strong regional association and we play an active role in insuring that both grow and thrive. We’ve built a reputation and brand as a professional organization that is well respected, charitable, involved and committed to practicing those common values that reflect our businesses and priorities.
We are engaged and value working with our trade union partners representing multiple construction trades of the association. We believe strong relationships with our union partners fosters a high standard for quality and workmanship, safe work environments, efficiencies and competitive market share. We negotiate in good faith for a positive and balanced relationship that advances skilled talent development through qualified apprenticeship programs, scholarship offerings and other training and certification support.
Our staff are leaders, professionals engaged at the state and national association levels and throughout the region as our industry voice and advocates, funds manager and negotiator and are skilled service providers bringing value to all our members. Contractor development is now and will continue to be a major priority as we support the trades and their education and training needs at all levels. We make a difference by understanding and advancing our industry and bringing value in serving our ever-changing member needs.
